How to Keep Your Cab Smelling Fresh for Every New Rider?

For a taxi or fleet driver, the car isn't just a vehicle—it’s an office. You spend 8 to 12 hours a day inside that cabin, sharing it with dozens of different passengers. Each passenger brings something invisible with them: the scent of their last meal, lingering cigarette smoke, or even seasonal flu germs.

Maintaining a 5-star environment isn't just about clean seats; it’s about the air your passengers breathe the moment they open the door.

The "Back-to-Back" Challenge
When you have a back-to-back booking, you don't have time to roll down all the windows and wait for the car to air out. If your previous passenger was a smoker or wearing heavy perfume, your next passenger—who might have allergies or a sensitive nose—is the one who pays the price.

A strong air freshener can be unwelcome to passengers who dislike perfume. Cleaning and removing the source of an odour are more useful than layering scent over it.

Caring for the cabin: For drivers who prefer no added fragrance, Novus offers a compact option with no replacement filters or fragrance refills.

Infection Defense: In a closed car, airborne germs from a single cough stay in the air. 3.8 million negative ions actively latch onto these particles, dropping them out of the "breathing zone" and onto the floor mats.

Between journeys: Remove food waste, check for spills and ventilate appropriately. Novus generates ions while powered; odour changes vary with cabin conditions.

Driver comfort: Take regular breaks and maintain ventilation during long shifts. Novus does not remove CO₂ or carbon monoxide and is not a treatment for fatigue or drowsiness.

Zero Maintenance: No filters to change and no scents to buy. It’s a one-time investment that works as hard as you do, 24/7.

The 5-Star Standard
The best-rated drivers know that comfort starts with the senses. A cabin that smells like absolutely nothing is the ultimate sign of a professional. Keep the cabin clean and comfortable for every passenger; no device guarantees a particular rating.
