What are negative ions?
Negative ions are electrically charged molecules found in the air. Novus generates them using an electrode when connected to a compatible 12V socket.
Does Novus add a fragrance?
No. Novus does not add perfume or use fragrance refills.
Does it use a filter?
Novus is filter-free and has no replacement filter. Ionizers and filtered air purifiers work differently; their performance should be assessed using relevant test results.
Where should I plug it in?
Use an open, compatible 12V car socket, positioned so it does not obstruct driving controls. It does not connect to a USB or Type-C port.
What do the ion figures mean?
The stated 3.8 million ions/cm³ is a product specification measured at 5 cm from the device. It is not the same as an ambient reading taken throughout a vehicle or outdoors.
How should I interpret test results?
